Of course, we have a blended family because we both had a dog before we even met one another. Here's my fun loving Schnitzel when she was small.
She was so cute because she could fit on a towel, and she absolutely loved to be twirled in the towel.
She also liked to lay on my shoes and snooze.
Now, she's not so small.
This is Chester. He's a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. Really, his name is Winchester, like the rifle. Sometimes we even call him Cheddar because of his fondness for cheese products. :)
Here is a very happy Chester riding in the car on his way to hunt.
He loves to hunt!! Here is a picture of he and "Daddy" out in the marsh. Isn't he cute! The dog looks nice, too.
This is Chester in the little motorhome that they all sleep in.
This is the Chester that I see at home most of the time. He always has some sort of toy in his mouth. That's a tennis ball, just in case you were wondering.
Chester and Schnitzel love to play with Jeff, too.
Sometimes, Chester thinks he is stealth by hiding in the end table--what a goofball!
Schnitzel has her own quirks, too.
As for now, we are just one happy family!
