Serena observes much in her little world, but sometimes she relates everything to her background knowledge. We were looking at pictures of her new family members. Many of these people Serena has not yet met. Well, I have a very bald 1 1/2 year old nephew. He's a cutie, but he doesn't have much hair.
Serena saw his picture and suddenly said, "Aww the poor baby has cancer." I asked her about the statement she made. She clarified that the poor baby had no hair, so he must have cancer.
HAHAHA!

I'm still smiling about that one! It was so good to finally meet her. She is a sweetie! The girls loved her too!
